You asked

Please supply the following information:

  • How many yellow cards have been declared by General Practitioners (GPs) in the UK for the COVID-19 vaccinations

  • A break down of the yellow cards

We said

Thank you for your request.

We do not hold information on General Practitioner (GP) yellow cards for COVID-19 vaccinations.

The Yellow Card scheme is run by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and is the UK system for collecting and monitoring information on safety concerns such as suspected side effects or adverse incidents involving medicines and medical devices. The scheme relies on voluntary reporting of suspected side effects or medical device incidents to be reported by health professionals and the public, including patients, carers and parents. Queries about this scheme should therefore be directed to the MHRA. They can be contacted via the following email address: info@mhra.gov.uk.
