In response to a previous FOI request, you stated that:

"In relation to the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index, the ONS last made a submission during 2018. Unfortunately, we no longer hold a record of the submission. Therefore, we do not hold the information you have requested."

I would like to request a copy of the 2018 ONS submission to the Workplace Equality Index in order to give ONS another opportunity to locate this information, whether by conducting a more thorough search of your own systems, or by requesting a copy from Stonewall.

We said

Thank you for your request.

We do not hold the Workplace Equality Index submission made to Stonewall in 2018 on our systems.

In response to this request previously, a thorough search was conducted of all locations where the submission could be stored. This search included SharePoint databases and folders of the relevant team and the LGBTQ+ Network folders, as well as the email accounts of all those who were in the team at the time of the submission.

The submission was sent to Stonewall via an online portal and only one ONS staff member had access to this portal at the time. This individual left our organisation, and their files deleted, prior to the submission of the original FOI.

Following the above efforts to search for the document, we can confirm that no copy of the requested document has been located and, therefore, we do not hold this information.

Under Freedom of Information law, we are only obliged to obtain information from a third party if that third party is holding information on our behalf. As this is not the case with the Workplace Equality Index submission to Stonewall, we can confirm that this information is not held by our organisation.
