I would like to put in a FOI request for the number of deaths for underlying conditions (ICD10 code) for each London Borough in 2022. I am looking for data on the underlying cause of death for 2022 broken down by London Borough, ideally categorised into broad ICD 10 code, as in the following publication, but for London Borough: https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/birthsdeathsandmarriages/deaths/datasets/deathsregisteredsummarystatisticsenglandandwales If you are unable to provide this information by borough, I would like to know about the combined London Boroughs of Wandsworth, Lambeth, Merton, Westminster, Richmond upon Thames, Kensington and Chelsea, and Hammersmith and Fulham. (as a block) If you are unable to provide the information for this block of boroughs, then I would like the same information for the entire London region.

Underlying cause of death for 2022 by ICD-10 code by local authority and Middle Super Output Area (MSOA) geography will be available later this year with the publication of the Deaths Registered Series and the update of our interactive webservice NOMIS. This is provisionally scheduled to be published in Quarter 4 of 2023, with a final date announced on our release calendar in due course.
Please note NOMIS may supress certain causes with numbers lower than 5 at this low geographical level due to our disclosure control policy.
