The number of people who have died from COVID-19 with no underlying health conditions can be found in our Pre-existing conditions of people who died due to COVID-19, England and Wales - Office for National Statistics dataset in table 2. This data has an age split of under 65 and 65+.
This publication will be updated on 22 April 2021 with data for January to March 2021.
Unfortunately, we do not hold analysis showing the average age of deaths involving COVID-19 with or without pre-existing conditions.
