This information is available in the following publication Monthly Mortality analysis for December.

Of the 73,477 deaths due to COVID-19, 4,009 (5.5%) were classified as "suspected" COVID-19 using ICD-10 code U0.72. 69,468 deaths were registered with ICD-10 code U0.71 in England and Wales.

Out of 81,946 deaths involving COVID-19, 4,589 (5.6%) were classified as  "suspected" COVID-19, using ICD-10 code U0.72 in England and Wales. 77,357 deaths were registered with ICD-10 code U0.71.
