You asked
Please supply an update to to the following publication "Occupation group for people aged 16 to 64 by disability status" from the ONS Annual Population Survey. It shows survey results for those categorised as "Disabled" or "Non-Disabled" and which of the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) they fall into. A recent example is Table 9 in the Disability and Employment, UK report released 18 February 2021.
Please supply how many (or what percentage of) disabled and non-disabled status individuals worked in 2015, 2016 and 2017 in the following categories:
- Managers, directors and senior officials
- Professional occupations
- Associate professional and technical occupations
- Administrative and secretarial occupations

We hold the following analysis data on occupation group by disability status as measured under the Equality Act 2010 based on the Annual Population Survey (APS):
- For the year ending June 2020: https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/healthandsocialcare/disability/datasets/disabilityandemployment
- For the year 2018: https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/healthandsocialcare/disability/datasets/prevalenceandemployment
However, we do not hold the specific analysis requested for the years 2015, 2016 and 2017. We may be able to create bespoke analysis. Information on occupation group, along with other special extracts and tabulations on disability are available to order (subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs, where appropriate). Such enquiries would fall outside of the Freedom of Information regime and should be made to: life.course@ons.gov.uk
If you are able to do your own cross-tabulations you could purchase an APS dataset from the UK Data Service. Details on costs and how to download the data can be found on their website:

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) also publishes statistics related to the employment of working age disabled people based on the APS. For the year ending March 2019, the publication includes breakdowns of disabled people in employment by occupation group.
