You asked

1a. What exactly is the Lateral Flow Test designed to test for?

1b. What can the test reveal?

1c. What can it diagnose?

1d. What are the actual statistics of true positives versus false positives?

2 (a to d). Please answer the same questions in respect of PCR tests (that the CDC/FDA AND OTHER GLOBAL GOVERNMENTS HAVE ALSO WITHDRAWN... as they have evidence that the tests are all useless and dangerous and 97% inaccurate*). Strangely they are still in use in the UK despite this?

The Government clearly quotes test results so there must be Government information available that can address the questions above

Thank you for your request.

Our COVID-19 Infection Survey (CIS) is a household survey. Our statistics refer to the number of current COVID-19 infections within the population living in private residential households. We exclude those in hospitals, care homes and/or other communal establishments. In communal establishments, rates of COVID-19 infection are likely to be different. We are not responsible for producing or administering the Lateral Flow tests and therefore we consider this information not held.

With regard PCR testing, the UK Health Security Agency and Department of Health are responsible for testing and your request will be better placed with them. They can be contacted on the following email addresses respectively freedomofinformation@dhsc.gov.uk and FOI@phe.gov.uk.
