A breakdown of those causes and mortality figure next to them for the same period 2009 to 2022.

Thank you for your enquiry.
We hold the following analysis Deaths registered in England and Wales - Office for National Statistics (ons.gov.uk) which holds all cause deaths in England and Wales from 1838 to 2021.
Table 8 shows deaths from external causes and Table 9a, 9b and 9c shows leading causes of deaths in England & Wales, England, and Wales respectively with sex and 5-year age disaggregation.
The accompanying dataset 21st Century Mortality shows annual deaths by ICD-10 code breakdown.
Alternatively, our interactive webservice NOMIS will provide a full ICD-10 breakdown for 2013 to 2021.
Provisional all cause mortality for 2022 is reported weekly within our Deaths Registered Weekly in England and Wales publication, whilst leading causes of death are reported monthly in Monthly Mortality Analysis.
