You asked
Under the Freedom of Information Act could you please provide a list of all Private Companies, Public Limited Companies and Limited Liability Partnership Companies in the United Kingdom with an annual turnover of over a Million with the Name of the Company, Company Type/Industry, Location - Town/City and County, Total Number of Staff, Number of BAME Staff and Annual Turnover. As well as whether they are a Socially Responsible Company, their CSR Activities and Percentage of their Annual Turnover Spent on CSR.

Unfortunately, we are unable to disclose the requested information, as Section 39 of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 (SRSA) prohibits the disclosure of personal information. Section 39 of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 (SRSA) renders it a criminal offence to disclose information held by the Statistics Board for statistical purposes that would identify an individual or a body corporate. As we are prohibited by law from publishing statistics in which individual businesses can be identified, Section 44(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) applies.
For information, ONS produce an annual publication called UK Business: Activity, size and location. This publication breaks down the number of UK Businesses (registered for VAT and/or PAYE) by geography, employment size-band, industry and legal status. It is created using an extract of the Inter Departmental Business Register (IDBR) taken on 11th March 2022.
