For personal research purposes I have tried to find the following datasets on the ONS website
- Number of live births by week, from 2013 to 2024
- Number of stillbirths by week from 2013 to 2024

On 17 May 2024, we updated our Births characteristics datasets. This provides annual live births in England and Wales by sex, birthweight, gestational age, ethnicity and month from 2014 to 2022. This also includes maternities by place of birth and with multiple births, as well as stillbirths by age of parents and calendar quarter.
The following publication may also be of interest, as this provides data on births and still births from 2008 to 2022: Births in England and Wales.
These publications are updated annually. 2023 data will be published later in 2024. 2024 data will be made available in 2025.
In case it is also of interest, we have published the number of live births by month of occurrence, 2015 to 2022 on our website here. Summing up the deciles 1 to 10 will give you the total number of live births in England (tab 1) and Wales (tab 2).
These publications do not have the requested weekly breakdowns. This specific analysis can be created as a custom output via our bespoke services route.
