Please could you tell me where I can find the latest statistics regarding the number of safety case professionals we have in the UK, detailing their level of experience and in what aspect of safety cases their specialism is (i.e. DSA, PSA, etc.)?

We collect information on the occupations of individuals in employment as part of the Labour Force Survey (LFS) and Annual Population Survey (APS). Occupation information is coded in line with the Standard Occupational Classification 2020 (SOC2020). However, unfortunately, within this coding frame it is not possible for us to identify occupations as specific as safety case professionals, or specialisms as they would be included within broader occupation classifications.
The latest occupation breakdowns on a SOC2020 basis are published on our Nomis website.
Detailed information on the numbers of safety case professionals may be possible to obtain from the various responsible authorities.
