Please provide the information regarding positive Covid-19 test results by age groups (daily or weekly).
Data range: From January 2020 (or since testing began) until present.
Age ranges of 80+ are more important to this request, but all age ranges would also be appreciated.

The July dataset in the following link, Coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the community in England dataset, accompanying our July article estimates of the percentage of people testing positive by age between 26 April to 27 June. This information can be found on Tab 2.
From the 11 September, we started including positivity by age in our weekly bulletins:
Bulletin 11 September: periods 26 July to 5 September
Bulletin 18 September: period 23 July to 10 September
Bulletin 25 September: period 09 August to 19 September
Bulletin 02 October: period 14 August to 24 September
Bulletin 09 October: period 21 August to 01 October
Bulletin 16 October: period 28 August to 08 October

Please note these are estimates from the COVID-19 Infection survey which began on 26 April. The Department for Health and Social Care produce the number of confirmed daily cases including by local authority in their dashboard via the following link: here.
