In our latest dataset that accompanied the article on characteristics of people testing positive for COVID-19, we published information on positivity amongst different occupational groups.
Table 1f looked at positivity amongst key workers and included data for the following sectors:
- Carehomes
- Education
- Healthcare
- Protective service occupations
- Other professions
Table 2a looked at positivity amongst patient and non-patient facing roles.
In the July edition of the characteristics article, we also published data for wider occupational groups, as follows:
- Managers, directors and senior officials
- Professional occupations
- Associate professional and technical occupations
- Administrative and secretarial occupations
- Skilled trades occupations
- Caring, leisure and other service occupations
- Sales and customer service occupations
- Process, plant and machine operatives
- Elementary occupations
This is shown on Figure 3 and the data is in Table 7 of the July dataset.
