I would like to request the Scottish death count for COVID-19 only from 2020 to 2023.

Thank you for your enquiry.
We are responsible for the production of mortality data for England and Wales, this is driven by information collected from the death certificate at death registration. National Records Scotland (NRS) responsible for statistics pertaining to Scotland. In collaboration with NRS, we publish headline figures for deaths involving COVID-19 in Scotland in table 6 of the following publication: Deaths registered weekly in England and Wales, provisional. However, this is headline provisional data and we do not hold any further disaggregation, such as deaths from COVID-19 alone.
