Scotland population mid-year estimate

On 25 January 2025 National Records of Scotland (NRS) published their Rebased population estimates, Scotland, mid-2011 to mid-2021 set of population estimates, however, these are not included in the estimates in this time series. The NRS’s mid-2023 population estimates, the latest estimates for Scotland, are also available. The revisions to Scotland’s estimates are small and will be included when the UK population estimates are revised in summer 2025.
