Figures for Parliamentary constituencies have been estimated following the same methodology as previously used to publish estimates at local authority level. This analysis is sensitive to the incidence of postcode sectors spanning multiple geographic boundaries. This incidence is notably higher for Parliamentary constituency boundaries compared with local authority boundaries (i.e. it is more likely for a postcode sector to span multiple Parliamentary constituencies than multiple local authorities).
