Crynodeb o'r cais

This table provides 2011 Census estimates that classify all households by accommodation type by tenure by number of bedrooms for England and Wales, England, Wales, London Boroughs in England and Wales on census day (27 March 2011)

  1. In this table, City of London and Westminster have been merged.
  2. Accommodation type: house or bungalow, includes: Detached whole house or bungalow; Semi-detached whole house or bungalow; Terraced whole house or bungalow (including end-terrace); 'Other' includes: a flat, maisonette or apartment that is in a purpose-built block of flats or tenement; a flat, maisonette or apartment that is part of a converted or shared house (including bed-sits); a flat, maisonette or apartment that is in a commercial building (for example, in an office building, hotel, or over a shop); and a caravan or other mobile or temporary structure.
  3. Tenure (1): Private rented: 'Other private rented or living rent free' includes the groups 'Private rented: Other' and 'Living rent free'.
  4. Tenure (2): The census asked respondents to identify who their landlord is and the results reflect the responses they gave. In the past decade half of the local authorities in Wales have transferred the management of all their local authority housing stock to other social landlords. Individuals responding to the census will report their understanding of their landlord and this may not reflect the actual management arrangements in all cases.
  5. Number of bedrooms: ''No bedroom and 1 bedroom" includes households who indicated '0 bedrooms' and '1 bedroom'. This is because all households where someone usually lives must have at least one room used as a bedroom.
