The Office for National Statistics (ONS), devolved governments and other relevant government departments have been working together to create new UK-wide data in high-priority areas of shared interest across all four nations of the UK. 

This work is co-ordinated through regular engagement with the devolved governments, the Cabinet Office (CO) and the Government Statistical Service (GSS) Heads of Profession and Directors of Analysis. 

Through this collaboration, some examples of new UK-wide data, previously not available, have been produced for: 

The ONS have worked with the devolved governments, the Cabinet Office and across the GSS to identify further work taking place during 2025 to 2026, to improve the comparability of UK-wide data and to create new data and analysis where possible.
