We are committed to providing you with information about the methods used to produce our statistics and the quality of our data. This is consistent with the requirements of the “Code of practice for official statistics”, which states the requirement to ensure that “users are informed about the quality of statistical outputs”.

Quality and methodology information reports are overview notes designed to give you information on the strength and limitations of the data and to allow you to decide what the data are suitable to be used for. They include qualitative information on the 5 Eurostat dimensions of quality (relevance, accuracy, timeliness and punctuality, accessibility and clarity, coherence and comparability) as well as giving information on the methods used to compile outputs and their impact on the quality of the estimates produced.
