Due to methodology changes within the PPI, the MM19 dataset is no longer produced. The last published data are for July 2020. The changes made to the PPI include the move from net to gross, the removal of duty and the implementation of chain-linking.
Due to the new chain-linking methodology used, the recommended index replacements are not like-for-like replacements, but are our closest alternatives. Therefore they will not match exactly but are provided for the consideration of the user.
