Provides files to download data as it existed for this dataset on previous dates.
Statistics are most often revised for 1 of 2 reasons:
- For certain statistics initial estimates are released with the expectation that these may be revised and updated as further data becomes available.
- Revisions may also be made when methods or systems are changed.
These types of planned revisions should not be confused with errors in released statistics, which are genuine mistakes. Such mistakes occur rarely and, when they do happen, corrections are made in a timely manner, announced and clearly explained to users in line with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics (Principle 2, Practice 7).

Important notes and usage information
On 11 March 2022, estimates of Monthly GDP were published for January 2022. The Index of Services, Index of Production and Construction output in Great Britain publications covering January 2022 are also available.
This quarterly national accounts release sees revisions to 2020 Q1 to 2021 Q4. Although this release focuses on providing the best quarterly estimate of GDP, an indicative monthly path for January 2020 to December 2021 is provided in the dataset.
The next monthly GDP release (on 11 April 2022) will be consistent with these revisions, and January 2022 will be open for revisions alongside a new February 2022 figure published for the first time.
