Correction - 23 June 2026
In the published tables, the columns for the weighted and unweighted results for questions regarding what proportion of businesses’ gas and electricity prices were fixed or hedged, and what proportion of total purchases were accounted for by energy, were incorrectly labelled.
This resulted in proportions for response options being incorrectly allocated to different responses than the actual results from the survey. This was caused by human error during setup of the BICS analytical pipeline.
This error has now been resolved and the data columns are now correctly labelled. We apologise for the error and any inconvenience this has caused.
