I would like to request information about the number of cases of mass physical violence in the UK. In the 2022/23 calendar year and the 2023/24 calendar year. This should be interpreted as referring to Homicides, knife & gun crime only.

Unfortunately, we do not collect data related to mass violence. All our data are collected at individual or household level, so we are unable to provide information on incidents of violence involving multiple victims.
You may be interested in our Homicide in England and Wales tables. Table 1 shows the number of homicide victims and table 2 shows the number of incidents which may help to work out whether there were any multiple victim homicides. We do not hold further detail about these incidents. You may want to reach out to the Home Office for further information: CrimeandPoliceStats@homeoffice.gov.uk.
