Please supply simple figures for weekly deaths from COVID-19 by vaccination status from September 2021 until your most recent records.

Thank you for your enquiry.
ONS have produced monthly analysis on deaths involving COVID-19 or all cause deaths after receipt of the COVID-19 vaccination. Deaths by vaccination status, England is an analysis of deaths involving COVID-19 by vaccination status that occurred between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2021 in England.
The definitions used in this dataset are as follows and can be found on the 'definitions' tab:
- Unvaccinated
- Vaccinated with 1 dose only, date of death/last day of week is less than 21 days after vaccination
- Vaccinated with 1 dose only, date of death/last day of week is at least 21 days after vaccination
- Vaccinated with 2 doses, date of death/last day of week is less than 21 days after second vaccination
- Vaccinated with 2 doses, date of death/last day of week is at least 21 days after second vaccination
An unvaccinated person would not have received any dose of a vaccine.
Unfortunately, we would be unable to provide you with weekly deaths data by vaccination status. To fulfil this request, we would need use a high level of statistical skill and judgement to create bespoke analysis. This would involve complex linkage of ONS mortality data to NHS hospital episodes statistics to create a bespoke table. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests. We therefore consider this to be information not held.
