I am writing to request information regarding visitors to the United Kingdom in 2024. I am primarily interested in obtaining data on the top 30 countries of residence of people visiting the UK or the top 30 nationalities of people visiting the UK.

We produce this information as part of our annual Travel Trends series. However, we have not yet created this information for the whole of 2024. The reason for this is because of a delay in our usual publication schedule due to significant improvement work being carried out on our statistics (please see the ONS website for more details: Improving our travel and tourism statistics - Office for National Statistics). We intend to produce and publish this information on the ONS website between the end of July and mid-August 2025.
In the meantime, provisional estimates for Quarter 1 (January to March) 2024 and Quarter 2 (April to June) 2024 are accessible in our Estimates of overseas residents' visits and spending publication. For both quarters, please use the Quarter 2 (April to June) 2024 edition. This is because the Quarter 1 data release was a limited release due to a quality review at the time. The data you have requested is in Table 15.
