Please could you provide information about the number of veterinary medicine producers in the UK, currently collated under SIC code 2120 which includes other pharmaceutical manufacturers as well.

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request enquiring number veterinary medicine producers in the UK.
For information, ONS produce an annual publication called UK Business: Activity, size and location. This publication breaks down the number of UK Businesses (registered for VAT and/or PAYE) by geography, employment size-band, industry and legal status. It is created using an extract of the Inter Departmental Business Register (IDBR) taken on 11 March 2022.
The data you have requested regarding the number of veterinary medicine producers classified to SIC 2120 are available using our data dissemination tool. The data are available from 2010 to 2022. The data can be broken-down by geography and Standard Industrial Classification (SIC).
