Please could you provide some reports in relation to the figures of crime, unreported crimes, why victims don't report and/or how many crimes go unreported or unrecorded.

We publish estimates on the proportion of crimes which come to the attention of the police or Action Fraud within Table D10 of our annual trend and demographic tables. From these figures, the percentage of incidents not reported to the police can be derived.
These estimates are based on the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW). The CSEW is a victimisation survey whose coverage is restricted to the population permanently resident in households in England and Wales. While it covers a broad section of victim-based crime experienced by the general population, it does not cover all offences.
Reasons for not reporting crimes to the police can be found in Table D11.
