Thank you for your enquiry.
We are responsible for the production of mortality data for England and Wales, this is driven by information collected from the death certificate at death registration. National Records Scotland (NRS) and Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) are responsible for statistics pertaining to Scotland and Northern Ireland. They can be contacted at foi@nrscotland.gov.uk and info@nisra.gov.uk respectively.
We do not hold analysis of mortality data using 2021 Census results. All of our current publications use 2011 Census data. However, we may be able to undertake your request as a bespoke data extract. Please note that our Census is for England and Wales. NRS is responsible for the Scottish Census and NISRA are responsible for the Northern Irish Census. Therefore, this data will cover England and Wales only.
Special extracts and bespoke tabulation can be requested from our Data & Analysis for Social Care and Health (DASCH) Customer Services team. This service is subject to disclosure control, legal frameworks, resources, and agreement to costs under the ONS Charging policy.
For further information on our bespoke pathway to data please contact the DASCH Customer Services team on Health.Data@ons.gov.uk
