In the past ten years, how has the UK population changed? How has the population of people born overseas changed?

Regarding your first question, please see the table in the associated download named 'FOI-2023-1238 - Estimates of the population of the UK at mid-year, 2011 to 2021'. This has been taken from the Office for National Statistics' (ONS) mid-year population estimates dataset published on our website.

Please note that the ONS' mid-year population estimates go up to 2021, and these are our most recent population estimates.  

You also asked how the population of people born overseas has changed in the UK. You can find this information in the following link to our population by country of birth and nationality datasets. In each annual dataset, please refer to table 1.1 ("Population of the United Kingdom by country of birth"), where you can see the 'non-United Kingdom estimate' column for the estimate of those not born in the UK.
