I am looking for data related to UK marketplace sellers by country of origin. I have looked at the trade data as well as VAT registration data, but wasn't able to find anything suitable. Can you please advise if this data can be obtained?

Please see the following publication, with data showing trade in goods imports into the UK by country and industry: https://www.ons.gov.uk/economy/nationalaccounts/balanceofpayments/datasets/uktradeingoodsbyindustrycountryandcommodityimports. This shows the value of goods imports by the country of residency of the importing business and the industry that business is in.
Unfortunately, we do not hold a more detailed breakdown, or information on individual businesses at this time. Therefore, we would be unable to provide you with this data. In order to fulfil this request, we would need use a high level of statistical skill and judgement in order to create a bespoke analysis. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests. We therefore consider this to be information not held.
