The Annual Population Survey (APS) captures health conditions. Please see the associated download named ‘Annual_Population_Survey_health_conditions_16+’, which provides estimates based on the most recent APS dataset for October 2022-September 2023. This table reports all health conditions given by respondents, so people giving multiple conditions will contribute to more than one row.
Health questions are asked of the 16+ population if the respondent aged less than 65, or, aged less than 75 and first contact, or aged greater than or equal to 75 and willing to continue with health questions and first contact.
