Between 2001-2022 (or 2021 if 2022 data is not processed yet) what was the total value of monies paid by the UK government in state pension payments in nominal terms and in real terms.

You may also find our Public sector finances, UK - Office for National Statistics (ons.gov.uk) publication helpful. State pension payments form a large portion of our National Insurance Fund Benefits (NIFB) indicator but we do not have a detailed breakdown of these data.
