Please supply the following :
- How many people in the UK ( or Wales, England, Scotland and Northen Ireland individually if that is how you present your information) have died within 28 days of receiving at least one dose of any of the covid 19 vaccines.
We said
Thank you for your enquiry regarding all cause deaths by vaccination status in the United Kingdom.
We are responsible for the production of Mortality data for England and Wales, this is driven by information collected from the death certificate at death registration. National Records Scotland (NRS) and Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) are responsible for statistics pertaining to Scotland and Northern Ireland. They can be contacted at foi@nrscotland.gov.uk and info@nisra.gov.uk respectively.
We hold the following analysis Deaths involving COVID-19 by vaccination status, England which is an analysis of deaths involving COVID-19 and all cause deaths by vaccination status that occurred between 1 January and 24 September 2021 in England.
We have used 21 days after vaccination as this is when the vaccine starts to be effective.
