Please could you provide me with UK all-cause mortality figures for 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Thank you for your request.
We are responsible for the production of mortality data for England and Wales. In collaboration with National Records Scotland (NRS) and Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA), we publish headline UK deaths in our Vital Statistics in the UK publication. These are published at the end of each year to allow the inclusion of late registrations deaths (which are deaths that have been referred for Coroner's investigation).
The current edition of the Vital Statistics bulletin provides UK mortality data up to 2020 via the following link: Vital statistics in the UK: births, deaths and marriages. This publication will be updated with 2021 data in December 2022.

Provisional 2022 data
Data for 2022 is currently provisional and therefore subject to change, this is to allow the inclusion of late registrations.
For England and Wales, provisional 2022 data can be found in the following publication: Deaths Registered Weekly publication. This publication is updated every Tuesday.
