We are keen to obtain up-to-date statistical data on Turkish citizens who have settled in the UK under the European Community Association Agreement (ECAA). Your organisation is known for its comprehensive collection and publication of migration data. In line with this, we are particularly interested in:
The total number of Turkish citizens who have settled in the UK under the Ankara Agreement
Year-on-year changes in these figures
Relevant reports or publications containing this data. This information is vital for our consultancy services, which are tailored to support Turkish individuals in the UK.

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request up-to-date statistical information about Turkish citizens in the UK.
The latest information we have available relevant to your enquiry would be from the 2021 Census. From 2021 Census for England and Wales data we estimate that there were 127,644 people who gave their country of birth as Turkey in March 2021.
Northern Ireland and Scotland conduct their own censuses so you would need to contact Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) and National Records of Scotland (NRS) respectively for similar estimates.
We don't hold any data specific to the Ankara Agreement or to provide year-on-year changes so we have no relevant reports or publications to help.
