Total population 0+ year olds for each postal district

I need your help to obtain a table from the most recent Census that contains total population 0 + years old for each postal district from the United Kingdom.

Thank you for your freedom of information request. 

Data for postcode districts was not produced as part of our standard Census 2021 outputs. The associated download named FOI-2025-2628 - Census 2021 - Population by postcode district and age is a previously commissioned dataset, which provides age (5-year age bands) for all usual residents in England and Wales for Postcode Sectors. 

If this doesn't meet your requirements, it may be possible to commission a table to your own specifications. Information on how to commission a table can be on the commissioned tables section of the ONS website. This page will also allow you to download a copy of the order form which details the scale of charges for this service.

The UK censuses are run separately by each National Statistics Office (Northern Ireland Statistics & Research Agency (NISRA), National Records of Scotland (NRS), and the Office for National Statistics (ONS) for both England and Wales). 

Northern Ireland's census was taken in 2021 and you can access their census data on the NISRA website. 

Scotland's census was moved to 2022. Publication of unrounded estimates began in May 2024. Please see the NRS website for information.
