I would like to request information about the total number of police officers employed to date by all forces in the UK since 2008 (by year) split by: Full-Time / Part-Time / Casual contracts, and force.

Unfortunately, we only hold high level police employment totals for each country. These are combined for England and Wales and separate for Scotland and NI. Unfortunately, we do not hold details of contract types, individual forces or rank.
The following organisations may be better placed to assist. We have provided links to their reports, however they do not cover all the variables in your request, so you may wish to contact them individually to request the data you require.
