Age disaggregated data for England and Wales is available online as part of the Deaths Registered Series. Table 4 provides deaths by single year of age for males from 1963 to 2020, table 5 provides this information for females.
Information presented in a graph format for the number of deaths in England and Wales for the past 20 years can be ordered via our bespoke services.
Special extracts and tabulations of mortality data for England and Wales are available to order (subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs, where appropriate).
