We hold the following analysis Care home resident deaths registered in England and Wales, provisional which holds data for 2020 and 2021, however this does not disaggregate to the geography level you have requested.
Number of deaths in care homes notified to the Care Quality Commission, England provides Provisional counts of deaths in care homes caused by coronavirus (COVID-19) by local authority and holds data from 2020 to 2022. We have also published Deaths in the care sector, England and Wales
We publish all cause and COVID-19 death registrations on a weekly basis in this dataset Death registrations and occurrences by local authority and place of death. Data is available from 2020 to August 2022 and this publication is updated every Tuesday.
Prior to 2020, we did not conduct analysis of deaths by place of occurrence as a regular output, however we do have some user requested data sets available.
Care home deaths by specified causes, England and Wales, deaths registered between 2001 and 2016
We can create your data requirements as a user requested data set. The analysis would be subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs under the ONS Charging policy where appropriate.
