I was wondering if it would be possible to get the statistics for the number of 11-16 year old suicide victims by local authority in 2019? Also, if possible the number of 16-17 year old suicides by local authority in 2019 also.

Thank you for your request.
In order to provide the number of suicides in 2019 for 11-16 and 16-17-year-old by local authority level, we would need use to create bespoke analysis. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests. We therefore consider this to be information not held.
However, we may be able to create this for you as a bespoke ad hoc piece of analysis. Such services would be subject to legal frameworks, disclosure controls, resources and agreement of costs. If you would like to request this bespoke dataset, please contact health.data@ons.gov.uk to discuss your enquiry further. Please note, there may be a charge for this work which would be subject to our charging policy.
