Information on deaths caused by suicide for local authority areas, month of death, sex, and age may be available to order from us. This would be subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreement of costs where appropriate. Such enquiries should be made to mortality@ons.gov.uk.

Please note that the Office for National Statistics only holds deaths registrations records for England and Wales. For deaths registered in Scotland and Northern Ireland, you should contact the National Records of Scotland and the Northern Ireland Research and Statistics Agency, respectively.
