Suicide data by profession

​​I would like to request the following information:

  1. a breakdown of suicides in England listed by last known occupation for every year since 2013, broken down for men and women

  2. the number of suicides by fishermen for each year since 2010

  3. details of those fishermen suicides, including age, location and cause of death

The following occupations in Table 4, which contains the most detailed occupation breakdown, may be of interest to you:

1213Managers and proprietors in forestry, fishing and related services
5119Agricultural and fishing trades n.e.c.
5433Fishmongers and poultry dressers
9119Fishing and other elementary agriculture occupations n.e.c.

Further data for specific occupations and variable breakdowns is available to commission as a bespoke analysis. Such services would fall outside of the Freedom of Information regime and would be subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreement of costs where appropriate.
