I would like to request the statistics for the offence of "Perverting the Course of Justice" and how many successful prosecutions by all UK Police forces were made from 1 January 2018 to present?

We are responsible for publishing crime statistics for England and Wales. Scottish Government is responsible for publishing crime data for Scotland. The Police Service of Northern Ireland is responsible for publishing crime data for Northern Ireland.  

We publish the number of police recorded 'Perverting the course of justice' offences in Table A4a of our Crime in England and Wales: Appendix tables from the year ending March 2003 to the year ending June 2023.

Unfortunately, we do not hold data by police force area or any information on prosecutions for this offence.   

However, the Home Office publish this data by Police Force Area in England and Wales from year ending March 2013 onwards in the following publication: Police recorded crime open data Police Force Area tables. If you have any queries about this data, please contact the Home Office directly.
