Thank you for your request.
Our latest estimates from the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) for year ending March 2023 in relation to stalking can be found here. Table 5 includes a breakdown down by personal characteristics, including age and sex.
The latest available data on the number of stalking offences recorded by the police is available in the Table 4a of our Appendix tables for year ending December 2023. This table, updated with year ending March 2024 data, will be published on 24 July 2024.
Regarding conviction rates, unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested. The ONS Centre for Crime and Justice publish figures on the levels and trends of crime in England and Wales primarily based on two sets of crime statistics: the CSEW and police recorded crime (PRC) data provided by the Home Office. Neither of these data sources collect information on prosecutions and conviction rates.
Court statistics and data on convictions and prosecutions in England and Wales are recorded and held by the Ministry of Justice. They publish court statistics on a quarterly basis. The most recent publication can be found here. The Ministry of Justice may be able to help further, they can be contacted at the following email address: ESD@justice.gov.uk
