Please provide shoplifting statistics across the UK for the years 2021 to 2023.

We publish Police Recorded Crime (PRC) data on shoplifting. The latest PRC data on shoplifting for the year ending December 2023 can be found in table A4a of our appendix tables. These tables contain data from the year ending March 2003 to the year ending December 2023. We also publish Police Force Area (PFA) tables which breakdown offences by England and Wales. PFA data for the years 2021-2023 can be found here.
The Office for National Statistics are responsible for collating and publishing statistics for England and Wales. Crime and justice statistics for Scotland can be found on the Scottish Government website. Should you require further assistance, they can be contacted at Justice_Analysts@gov.scot.
