You asked
In response to geopolitical tensions rising and the current perceived issues surrounding immigration in the UK, I am doing research to construct a clear picture of the situation at hand.
Recently, there has been a surge in the careful and orchestrated use of statistics to sway public opinion on the matter. Consequently I would like to formally request all relevant documents, statistical analyses and spreadsheets pertaining to the convictions of sexual offences by ethnicity. I am specifically looking for records from the period 01.01.2023 - 25.08.2025. Thank-you in advance for your co-operation.

Thank you for your enquiry.
We do not hold the data you have requested. Our publications and data concern crime as it is experienced by victims, or as it is recorded by police.
The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) are primarily responsible for data on offenders. They publish Statistics each quarter which may be of help. You may also find the MoJ's Criminal justice statistics quarterly - GOV.UK, Outcomes by Offence data tool useful. It allows you to filter by various categories including; offence group, ethnicity and other breakdowns to find the convictions and sentenced numbers.
The MoJ may be able to help you further with this request and can be contacted at CJS_Statistics@justice.gov.uk.
If you have any further queries about crime, whether relating to victims' experiences or police-recorded data, please contact us at CrimeStatistics@ons.gov.uk and we will do our best to assist you.
