I’m hoping to get some figures on the police forces with the highest reports / case load of sextortion cases in 2023.
I understand that sextortion might fall under the blackmail crime classification - might that be right?

Table A4a in our appendix tables includes a breakdown of offences recorded by the Police at a National level for England and Wales. A breakdown by Police Force Area is included in our Police Force Area data tables, but this does not include the individual breakdown of the offences you are looking for.
Police recorded crime figures are supplied to us by the Home Office, who are responsible for collating police recorded crime data. They may be able to assist you further and can be contacted via crimeandpolicestats@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk.
