I am writing to you to request information referred to within the 'Overview of Hate Crime in England and Wales 2013' as prepared by the Home Office, Ministry of Justice and Office for National Statistics.
I am seeking the underlying data to which the Overview (2013) at pages 43 and 44 refers.

We publish crime statistics for England and Wales from two main sources: The Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) and crimes recorded by the police. We do not produce any statistics relating to sentencing, and therefore do not hold the data you are referring to and are unable to provide you with it.
It is possible that the Ministry of Justice, who led on the contribution of sentencing data to this publication, may be able to help you further. They can be reached by email at: statistics.enquiries@justice.gsi.gov.uk
