Please can you send me a list of all the reviews of the work of the ONS (to include reviews of government statistics going beyond the ONS) that involved advisers external to the ONS.
The list should include, for example:
Weale review of earnings
Smith review of crime (2006)
Pickford review of economic statistics
Chancellor's initiatives (early 1990s)
Efficiency review (1999?)
EU/UN health checks
Johnson review of inflation
Allsopp regional statistics
Lyons review
Please include the original remit, any revisions to it, the final report and any reports subsequently written about progress with the recommendations, and any public or press announcements. Where there are relevant or related papers on the internet, please supply links.

Please find attached the 'Improving Economic Statistics - The Chancellor's Initiative' final report.
Other documents are publicly available, and will therefore be exempted from the response under s21 of the Freedom of Information Act.
The terms of reference for the review of the governance of prices statistics, the final report and accompanying statement, and the June 2015 announcement regarding implementation of the review, are each available on the UK Statistics Authority website.
