I recently attempted to get statistics in relation to the re-admission rate of patients under the Mental Health Act (1983) and it has referred me to your email service here. If i could have access to these statistics it would be greatly appreciated.

We are responsible for the production of mortality and births statistics. These are derived from information collected at the registration of the birth or death.
We do not hold any information on detention or readmission for mental health reasons. However, the Mental Health Foundation presents various statistics on mental health conditions and the NHS England's mental health data hub provides publications and dashboards relating to mental health services.
Additionally, Table 6 of the Mental Health Act Statistics, Annual Figures, 2023-24 provides data related to repeated detention rates.
